The biggest OMG celeb moments of the week

Hollywood buzz was hot, hot, hot this week. From embarrassing dads to one of our fave shows ending, we’ve got the scoop below.

Barbie, meet Demi

Demi Lovato took to Twitter this week with an unusual request for her upcoming birthday in August. The 20, soon to be 21-year-old, tweeted that one of her biggest dreams is to have her very own life-size Barbie with the same weight and height as her. That’s not all the “Heart Attack” singer had to say. “Also, Barbie should make dolls with cellulite,” added Demi. “After all, around 95 percent of all women have it!” Not too soon after, Demi’s many followers gave their outpour of support. “I’d buy a (Demi Lovato) Barbie in a heart beat,” one Twitter user chimed in. “I'd actually buy like 1,000 and give them to every little girl I see.” Demi has shared with the public her struggles with her weight when she was younger. Maybe a Demified Barbie is exactly what this world needs.

 

Think your dad is embarrassing? Think about Jaden Smith.

Jaden and his actor father Will Smith have been spending a lot of time together lately promoting their latest flick After Earth. But we’re wondering if they’ve been spending a little too much time together. During an interview in Thailand this week, Will is seen giving Jaden a gigantic kiss on the lips. Even though it might have been out of pure affection, Jaden surely seemed embarrassed  and wiped his lips while muttering, “This is ridiculous!” We feel for you, J. But you can’t really be mad. Sunday’s Father’s Day, after all.  

 

Uh oh, Bridgit Mendler’s gonna be out of a job?!

It was announced this week that one of our fave Disney Channel shows, Good Luck Charlie, has been cancelled (tear!) after just four seasons. We’re so sad to say goodbye to some of our favorite characters, but we can’t wait to see the final episodes, which are set to air through early 2014.

 

Bieber will love you to the moon and back

Looks like the 19-year-old heartthrob is moving on to bigger and better things. And by bigger and better, we’re talking out of this world! Justin Bieber has reportedly signed up this week for one of the Virgin Galactic’s suborbital space flights. The founder of Virgin Galactic’s airline tweeted, “Great to hear @justinbeiber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!” Not to mention, tix up to space are going for $250,000 a seat! Safe travels.

 

Miley’s parents split

Just as everything seems to be going well with Miley’s love life (her and Liam’s engagement is reportedly still on), we find out the same definitely cannot be said for her parents, Billy Ray and Tish. After almost 20 years of marriage, they’ve decided to divorce. This same thing happened a few years ago when Billy Ray filed for divorce, but they reconciled a few months later. Now apparently it was Tish who made the move. Will they get back together again? Well, we sure hope so.
