Shawn Mendes's "Never Be Alone" music video is out

 
Shawn Mendes just shared the music video for his new single "Never Be Alone" and both the song and the vid itself are totally gorg. The lyrics are super romantic, but the sound is almost bittersweet or melancholy, especially paired with the visuals.

In "Never Be Alone," shots of Shawn writing in a cabin are interspersed with images of a girl wandering through the outdoors and up a mountainside. By the time she reaches Shawn's cabin, though, he's gone and all she finds is a note he left behind.

We think this vid is super beautiful, from its muted colors and scenery to Shawn's incredible voice. If we weren't excited for the rest of Shawn's album Handwritten before, we definitely are now.
