Exclusive: We've got Dylan Dauzat's new "Mine Tonight" music video!

Though he's only got a few songs out so far, 17-year-old Dylan Dauzat is already making a name for himself as an artist. Although he got his start as a hilarious YouTube and Vine star, Dylan's found his calling with music. After all, his first single "Kickin' It" shot to the top ten on iTunes within a day, and his hit "You Got That" had us jamming along all week.

We've been listening to his sweet song "Mine Tonight" since it came out, but now Dylan's ready to show off the music video to his fans and we've got the exclusive right here on GL. Though Dylan shared that he's in a relationship, and has even written a few song about a special someone, he admitted that the girl in the vid is just a friend. We also chatted with the budding singer about how he got into music and what his plans are next. Check it out.

GL: What inspired you to write "Mine Tonight"?

Dylan: I went to a party a while back in the Hollywood Hills and I saw this beautiful girl. Of course, I wanted her to be "mine tonight" so it was inspired by that event.

GL: How would you describe your music in general?

Dylan: Upbeat and positive. I like making music that makes people feel good, but also tells a story and has a meaning behind it.

GL: We hear you're working on a new EP! What are you most excited for fans to hear on it?

Dylan: I’m excited for them to hear a little bit more about my life. My EP will be taking a more in depth look at who I am and my experiences. I want my music to be a reflection of my life that I can look back on when I’m older so I can remember the events that inspired the song.

GL: When did you realize you wanted to be a singer?

Dylan: It came naturally, and very much came to life when I started hanging out with other artists in the music space. I’ve always loved music. It's been a great creative outlet to express myself.

GL: Are there any artists in particular you look up to?

Dylan: Justin Timberlake and Jason Derulo definitely! Not only do I look up to them as artists but also as people. They seem really genuine and have so many good qualities. Overall, I think just being a good person is important.

GL: If you could collaborate with anyone, who would you work with?

Dylan: Jason Derulo! We’d make some cool music together.

What do you think of Dylan's new music video for "Mine Tonight"? Are you excited to hear his EP when it drops? Tell us in the comments.
