The biggest OMG celeb moments of the week

Some seriously exciting things have happened in the past seven days with our favorite celebs. From new singles being announced to long awaited movies beginning production, this week had it all.

Summer Single

It’s been almost two years since Demi Lovato released her latest self-titled album, and now we’re finally getting some insight on what her next sound is going to be. Demi announced on Twitter that her newest single, "Cool For The Summer," is set to release on July 1st. We couldn’t be more excited, and we’re not the only ones. Demi’s BFF and resident hottie Nick Jonas also Tweeted out his congratulations for his friend and business partner. We have no doubt that this is going to be on every summer playlist.

The Silver Chair

The last time we were transported to Narnia with the Pevensie children was 2010, but it looks like we will be heading back to meet Aslan again in the near future. It has been announced that The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair finally has a completed script and that pre-production is almost ready to begin. There’s no word on which stars will return to Narnia as their beloved characters, but we know this is going to be one awesome movie.

Harry Potter On Stage

J.K. Rowling made a huge announcement this morning on the 18th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone's publication in the United Kingdom, saying that there is a new Harry Potter storyline in the works. The twist is that this story will be told as a stage play debuting on London’s West End in 2016. Though Rowling is keeping mum on the subject (other than revealing it's not a prequel), sources are saying the play called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will tell the mostly unexplored story of Harry’s life as a young boy and reveal more about James and Lily Potter before they died.

Taylor and the big Apple

If you haven’t read Taylor Swift’s amazing letter to Apple Music explaining her reasoning behind not allowing her album 1989 to be streamed, then you are truly missing out. Because of that letter, Taylor became the voice for thousands of musicians and was able to change the way Apple Music (and likely much of the music industry going forward) treated its artists. Now, not only will Apple Music pay for the music it steams during the free three month trial period, Taylor has also agreed to share her music as well. That's what you call a win-win for everyone. We love that Taylor stood up for her rights, and the rights of other artists, and made one more difference in the world.

Which celeb made you go, "OMG!" this week?
