If you missed last night’s episode, here’s a quick recap: The girls are still recovering from being trapped in a creepy dollhouse by A (who we thought was Charles DiLaurentis), and though the girls are starting to feel normal again, some repressed memories are beginning to surface. One being the opener of last night’s episode (aka Maddie’s incredible performance).

It starts with Spencer recalling a memory in which she enters a creepy room. She sees a girl (Maddie) who is dancing, but almost seems possessed by something thanks to her otherworldly movements. Even though Spencer first thinks she’s remembering something from being trapped by A, later in the episode she realizes the room was actually in Radley (the mental institution where she, Mona and Charles—and now Leslie—spent some time). She even finds a picture of Maddie’s character on the wall, which raises more questions than it answers.

If you thought that was intense, what about Aria and Clarke’s photo adventure to the abandoned junkyard? Aria realized Clark snapped a picture when she felt like she was being followed. When Clark wasn’t paying attention, she stole his shots, so she could finally identify A. To her surprise there WAS a hooded figure in the shot, but that wasn’t the only shocking piece of information—A is a girl!

With so many revelations on last night’s episode, it’s a bit confusing to even keep track of what is happening to our favorite Rosewood girls.

We've got tons of questions. First of all, who is this dancing girl? Is she supposed to be Spencer? Allison? A new character entirely? Did Aria really catch “A” on camera—and who do you think she(?) is?
