The Foo Fighters released their now iconic song "Times Like These" in 2002, and with hopeful lyrics like, "It's times like these we learn to love again," the band decided to reboot it now to offer hope during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They didn't do it alone, though—instead, they enlisted an *impressive* list of celebrities, who all filmed from their own homes: 5 Seconds of Summer, AJ Tracey, Anne-Marie, Bastille, Biffy Clyro, Celeste, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Dermot Kennedy, Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, Grace Carter, Hailee Steinfeld, Jess Glynne, Mabel, Paloma Faith, Rag’n’Bone Man, Rita Ora, Royal Blood, Sam Fender, Sean Paul, Sigrid, YUNGBLUD and Zara Larsson.
The project is part of BBC Radio 1's Stay Home Live Lounge, and according to their website, profits from the single "will go to BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief to provide essential support to vulnerable people of all ages and backgrounds across the UK who will be significantly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis."
