The breakups and makeups of quarantine: where your fave celeb couples stand

We can all agree that 2020 as a whole has been a *giant* mess, and to add insult to injury, tons of famous couples who were once #relationshipgoals have called it quits.

From reality stars to actors and even TikTok dancers, the nationwide stay-at-home orders over the past several months have put relationships to the test. But just as some couples bid adieu, others are entering new romances—and announcing it in *super* cute ways. Here are some of the most Internet-breaking celeb couple announcements since the beginning of quarantine.

Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart: Broken Up

Although the Riverdale co-stars have always been private about their relationship, their breakup was confirmed back in May by various media outlets. Sources like E! News claim that the two quarantined separately and are no longer together after meeting on set and dating for 2 years. While neither Cole nor Lili has publicly addressed the breakup over social media, Lili did speak out about the loneliness she was experiencing as well as a scary incident in which her adorable dog was attacked. Knowing how these two try hard to keep their personal lives offline, that may be the only statement we get on their relationship coming to an end.

It’s been an incredibly hard month for all of us. And although this quarantine is isolating and extremely challenging for those of us who struggle with mental health, I have learned a lot about myself during this time. I have learned to cherish the people in my life who have stood by me through my best and my worst. I almost lost Milo a week ago when he was attacked and I can’t even begin to imagine what my life would be like without him now. Or without any of the close friends and family I have relied on for support throughout this pandemic. At the end of the day, all we have is each other. And all we can offer one another during this time is love and kindness. Love as hard as you can because the people around you may need it more than you think. ❤️

Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes: Officially Together!

When Outer Banks hit Netflix in April it was an immediate success, catapulting these two leading actors into social media and IRL stardom. Fans soon began to notice how much time Madelyn and Chase were spending together in quarantine. Just as the public loved seeing their characters John B. and Sarah fall in love throughout the show's first seasons, many were rooting for the duo to become an item off-screen as well. Luckily for shippers, Chase made their relationship Instagram-official with this *beyond* sweet post.

Addison Rae and Bryce Hall: Reunion Possible?

Ever since the TikTokers' breakup in January, followers have been rooting for these two to find their way back to one another. They have been spotted together in several TikToks over the past weeks and have left flirty comments on each other's social media posts, so it is definitely possible that they could get back together soon—fingers crossed.

Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood: Broken Up

In an announcement that came as a shock to many, Cassie took to Instagram several weeks ago to discuss her breakup with the former Bachelor after helping him recover from Covid-19. She was sure to add that there would always be love and respect between the two...but that doesn't make the news of their split any easier to hear.

Isaak Presley and Kenzie Ziegler: Broken Up

While Isaak posted a lengthy Youtube video explaining their breakup, Kenzie went on Instagram Live for a short but heartfelt update about why the two decided to go their separate ways. Their future is uncertain, but we can only hope for the best for these two young influencers.

Charli D'Amelio and Lil Huddy: Who Knows?

The recent drama between Lil Huddy and fellow TikToker Josh Richards resulted in Lil Huddy's breakup with the June/July 2020 GL cover star (as well as Josh's diss track describing incidents in which Lil Huddy allegedly tried to cheat on Charli). However, TikToks posted during Charli's recent trip to LA showed the two happily hanging out poolside...maybe even hinting at a reunion? They have both been recorded by paparazzi saying that they are just friends *for now,* but haven't ruled out the possibility of getting back together soon!

Asher Angel and Annie LeBlanc: Broken Up

Asher opened up about how tough the quarantine separation really was on his relationship with Annie in a virtual interview with Entertainment Tonight. After not seeing each other for 75 days, they decided to call it quits. In the interview, Asher also addressed rumors that were circulating after a cryptic Instagram caption inspired backlash against both himself and Annie. He cleared the air and was sure to inform viewers that he will always love Annie.

Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty: Still Going Strong

Dove shared this *hilarious* photo on Instagram summarizing how she is spending her quarantine with longtime boyfriend and Descendants costar Thomas. Let's just say Thomas should stick to acting instead of trying to work at a nail salon!
