The TikTok star makeups and breakups of 2020
In less than two years, TikTokers like Charli D'Amelio and Addison Rae have become huge stars, and with a lot of the big TikTokers being similar in age and in neighboring collab houses, it's not surprising that some of them got caught up in drama this past year—relationship drama included. 2020 was full of makeups and breakups between our faves: Charli D'Amelio, Chase Hudson (aka Lil Huddy), Dixie D'Amelio, Griffin Johnson, Noah Beck, Addison Rae, Bryce Hall, Avani and Anthony Reeves. Get ready bc we're about to respill *all* the relationship tea from this past year.
January
Charli and Chase
These two were rumored to be dating after they were seen hanging out together in December of 2019, and this kiss they shared at Mads Lewis' New Years' Eve party was basically all the confirmation we needed to know that Charli and Chase were a thing.
Avani and Anthony
There had also been dating rumors about Avani and Anthony late in 2019. Mads Lewis' NYE party was full of TikTokers, so it's no surprise that you can also spot Avani and Anthony sharing a kiss right at the end of Mads' TikTok.

Addison and Bryce
Addison and Bryce started doing cute TikToks together in October of 2019, and they made fans start to think they were dating because of TikToks like this one that they did in January.

We got extra confirmation that Charli and Chase were *official* when Chase posted the sweetest Valentine's Day TikTok with Charli.

Addison and Bryce
After a few months of fans wondering if #Braddison was a thing, Addison confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, that she and Bryce were really just friends.

Charli and Chase
Just when things seemed to be going strong for these two, drama started to stir in March. Some Sway House members accused Chase of cheating on Charli because Nessa Barrett told her BF Josh Richards that Chase had been DMing Nessa. Charli and Chase didn't comment on this until later on.
Dixie and Griffin
While Charli was facing her own relationship drama, Dixie and Griffin started to hang out more and sparked dating rumors when they started making these *adorbs* TikToks together.

After the cheating accusations in March, our fave OTP announced on Instagram that they broke up but would still stay friends.
Avani and Anthony
After they went on vacay together in March before quarantine restrictions, Avani and Anthony *finally* made things official by posting one-month anniversary IG posts.

Charli and Chase
Fans started to think that Charli and Chase were back together because they wore matching long-distance touch bracelets *and* used white heart emojis when tweeting each other. Chase usually only uses purple and black hearts, so fans thought the white heart showed that Charli was special to him.

Even though Addison and Bryce said that they were friends, Griffin Johnson made a hilarious TikTok calling out Bryce for having a crush on Addison.

Dixie and Griffin
Dixie and Griffin became official when they did this TikTok. They lip-synched to Thomas Petrou's answer to a paparazzi's question about their relationship status. And while some people thought they made this TikTok as a joke, Griffin later confirmed that this was true with a YouTube video of him asking Dixie to be his girlfriend.

Addison and Bryce
Addison and Bryce continued making TikToks together as friends, and they made us *all* wish #Braddison was a real thing.

Charli and Chase
Who remembers the *major* drama that went down between Charli and Chase? One night, several Hype House and Sway House members started unfollowing each other, and Chase responded to this by addressing the cheating accusations that first came up in March and even accused other TikTokers of cheating on their GFs. In response, we got Charli's *iconic* comeback and her "your loss ;)" IG post.

Dixie and Griffin
At the end of July, fans noticed that Dixie and Griffin had unfollowed each other. Chase had previously called out Griffin for cheating on Dixie when the whole Chase and Charli fiasco went down, and a girl on TikTok proved it by showing screenshots of messages Griffin sent her.

Charli and Chase
After all the drama from the past month, Charli and Chase started doing TikToks together again, letting us know that our fave TikTokers are indeed still friends (whew!).

Dixie and Griffin
After unfollowing each other in late July, Dixie confirmed that she and Griffin had broken up with a YouTube video titled "My Last Date with Griffin", which TBH was a pretty boss move. *No* breakup was going to mess with her YouTube uploading schedule.
Addison and Bryce
Despite all their fans shipping #Braddison, Addison and Bryce continued to insist that they were just friends.

Dixie and Noah
Dixie dropped her "Be Happy" remix music video, in which Noah plays her love interest, and this made fans start to think that Dixie and Noah were dating. In her YouTube video, Dixie talked with Noah about their relationship and the kiss they shared in the music video, making it *obvi* that there was something going on between the two of them.
Addison and Bryce
Addison told Entertainment Tonight that she and Bryce had an on-and-off relationship and that at that point, they were broken up.
October
Dixie and Noah
Noah confirmed that he was dating Dixie in a video he did with AwesomenessTV, and Dixie even said that she *loved* Noah in a video with Jaden Hossler (OMG).
Addison and Bryce
These two dropped a ton of hints about their relationship throughout October. They were spotted on dates, did TikToks together, posted about each other on Instagram and even dressed up together as Harley Quinn and the Joker for Halloween.
November
Addison and Bryce
In a YouTube video, they revealed that their relationship had been on-and-off for a while, and they actually dated one time for three days before breaking it off. But in November, they were on again and, based on their Instagram photos, they're still going strong.
December
Dixie and Griffin
Dixie released her new song "One Whole Day" early in December, and fans thought this was in response to Griffin's diss track "Convenient". In her new song, Dixie implied that she was sad about her breakup with Griffin for just one day before moving on, which is *totes* a Dixie-style clapback.
Avani and Anthony
These two have been together since March and are constantly showing us that they are *the* style icons we need on our FYP.
