Girls' Life: What inspired you to break into the music scene?

Amalia: We've all grown up surrounded by music—I started dancing in the studio when I was 2 years old, then started singing at 6. After watching me doing warm-ups and going to singing competitions for a few years, Raena and Gabriella decided to join me.

Raena: Once all three of us were singing, it felt natural to do it together.

Girls' Life: When it comes to recording a song, what's your typical process?

Raena: We start with the concept, so if one of us has a specific idea we bring it to the group. It always starts with a message—that's important to us, to spread a positive message and have meaningful songs. For "Don't Need A Reason," we sent our producer song inspiration, ideas for a track and the vibe we wanted and everything just came together.

Girls' Life: For "Don't Need A Reason," what was one favorite moment of working on the track?

Gabriella: I loved doing the Zoom session where we wrote the song alongside our producer. It's definitely going to be a core memory.

Girls' Life: What's it like pursuing this career alongside your sisters?

Raena: We're always together. There can be a double side to that, though, since we're creating our own schedule and don't have to plan around people in different households, if we have a birthday party to go to or something then it's easier to get sidetracked.
Amalia: It's so fun, though. We can go into each other's rooms and be, like, "Hey, I thought of something, want to work on it?" We're able to do things at any time, which is amazing...though of course we can get distracted sometimes.
Raena: I can't imagine it any other way.
Amalia: And you always know that everything is coming from a place of love. Any time one of us has a comment or constructive criticism, it's never taken hard at all. We love each other so much and we're so glad to be doing this together.

Girls' Life: What do you hope people take away from this song?

Raena: Life is short and you don't need a reason to dance! Just do what you love.
Amalia: And we hope it inspires you to get up and dance.
