We're going cray over this "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" news
Brace yourself. The moment we’ve all be waiting for since 2007 is finally here: Gilmore Girls is back.
Well, almost. The upcoming Netflix miniseries entitled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is set to air on November 25, 2016 and will consist of four 90-minute “chapters,” each one representing a season.
What we're excited about right now though is this sneak-peak trailer that was released along with premiere date. In the vid, Lorelai is oh so #relatable and talks about wanting to be friends with comedian Amy Schumer. Despite new pop culture references, everything about the scene is so classically Gilmore Girls that the time jump is barely noticeable.
Most of the original cast will be returning to take part in the series. Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham, Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena and Yanic Truesdale will all be return to play the roles of Rory, Lorelai, Sookie, Luke, Emily, Lane and Michel, respectively.
After the long and painful wait, watching Lorelai and Rory sit at the kitchen table sipping coffee together and eating Pop Tarts makes waiting until November feel virtually impossible.
