Must List

Fall for Jason Castro

We just can’t get enough of American Idol! Jason Castro (you know, the cutie with the blue eyes and dreadlocks from 2008) will be releasing his self-titled debut album tomorrow, April 13.

The first single from the CD, “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again,” has been out for a while, and those who hear it seem to absolutely, well, love it. Tracks like “If I Were You” and “All Wrapped Up” sound almost like something Jason Mraz would do, so fans of his would really get into it! (Maybe it’s all just in the name?)

Jason’s music is very soulful, and each song has powerful lyrics that everyone can relate to. Songs like “This Heart of Mine “ and “You Can Always Come Home” are very sweet—but not sappy!

The guitar is Jason’s weapon of choice for his music, and he couldn’t have chosen better. All of his songs are pretty guitar-heavy, but the instrument fits his style perfectly, demonstrated most in “That’s What I’m Here For”.

“Hallelujah,” the last track on the album, is already a famous tune (it was in Shrek), and one that Jason is known for singing very well. But, come on, who could get bored of listening to him belt it out over and over again.

Be sure to check out Jason Castro’s self-titled album and let us know your fave tracks.

Do you like Jason? Following this season of American Idol? Blog about it, babes.
