GL's 13 Taylor Swift faves
Why do we love
Taylor? Sure, she's gorgeous, sweet and a killer role model. But we mainly
love her because she writes songs that we can all relate to!
And so, in honor of the release of her third album, Speak Now (in stores now), and her lucky number, here's
a breakdown of our 13 all-time faves:
1. “Forever & Always” (Piano Version) -- Is it just us, or was Taylor's
voice just made for slow, beautiful melodies like this one? The piano version
brings a hundred times more emotion to this song, supposedly directed at Tay's
ex, Joe Jonas.
2. “Fearless” -- The title of her chart-topping album and her sold out world tour? Of course everyone loves this song! It's a perfect mix of romantic and inspiring.
3. “Fifteen” -- She nailed it. It's pretty much the theme song of any 15-year-old’s life.
4. “Tim McGraw” -- How can this one not make the list?! Tim McGraw put Tay on the country music radar, and without this sweet melody about a summer romance she may not be the star she is today!
5. “You Belong With Me” -- You can't think "Taylor Swift" without thinking "You Belong With Me". The lyrics, the beat, the music video: it all comes together in the perfect T. Swift song.
6. “Love Story” -- The ultimate fairy tale of every girl's dreams. And the music video?! Taylor and her beau may just give Romeo and Juliet a run for their money!
