Ladina's out! Who's next on N.B.T.?


Was anyone else shocked when Ladina Spence was eliminated from Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing last Friday? We absolutely loved her single “Invisible” and we’ve been scratching our heads since we heard she won’t be coming back!


But luckily we’ve got some good news for ya, too. The remaining contestants have released their second singles! Here’s a recap of the songs that just might make one of these stars the Next Big Thing!

  • Zack Montana proved that he’s capable of more than just dance songs with his rap song, “Shorty’s With Me,” about standing up to haters

  • Country singer-next-door Tay Barton’s second song, “I’m Invisible,” a piano-heavy ballad about feeling ignored by your crush, left us wondering how long until girlfriend wins a CMT award!

  • Shaleigh’s second single, “Spotlight,” is a departure from her soulful first single that makes us want to get up and groove.

  • Hollywood Ending’s “I’m So Over You” is the male pop version of “Picture to Burn.” It’s a total sing-into-your-hairbrush anthem.


In other N.B.T. news, cutie Cody Simpson recently stopped by the Radio Disney studios to offer advice to the remaining contestants. We couldn’t help but swoon when he gave some pretty sweet advice to Shaleigh!
