The 84th Academy Awards: Did you watch?

Actors and actresses all dream of winning the ultimate award: The Oscar! Last night, the best of the best were given the honor of being a winner at the 84th Academy Awards.

Beautiful people (ahem, George Clooney and date, Stacy Keibler) walked the red carpet in the most luxurious and classy outfits that they could find. This awards show is one of the most upscale and important in the film industry. Some stars were spot on with their outfits, like Michelle William’s gorgeous strapless red gown. Others didn’t do so well, like actress Missi Pyle who wore a light blue long dress that had way too much going on. A strap hanging off her shoulder, a see-through bottom, some ruching, and a little bling.

Got Bieber fever? Maybe the surprise Justin Bieber appearance during the opening monologue gave you a bit of a heart attack. We were definitely shocked! But then again, the Biebs shows up everywhere nowadays.

And then there was this ah-mazing performance from Cirque du Soleil…

Weren’t able to catch all the Academy Awards excitement? No worries, GL’s giving you the lowdown on who won…and who we definitely think should have won.
