The best spooky szn movies on Netflix rn
We've been *loving* all things fall. What's not to love about pumpkin patch photo shoots, fall festivals and scary movie marathons with your besties? Every year, Netflix comes prepared with a full stock of new and classic Halloween movies. This is the ultimate list of 8 binge-worthy movies to watch this Halloween.
The Addams Family
With a *classic* twist on the 1960's series, The Addams Family is def one of the most iconic movies of all time. The film tells the story of the dark and eccentric family and an evil loan shark trying to trick the family to claim their profound wealth. This movie has lots of *spooky* elements, as well as dark humor. Channel your inner Wednesday Addams and enjoy this story.
The Boy Who Cried Werewolf
The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, aka Tori Vega: werewolf edition, stars our *fave* Nickelodeon original babe, Victoria Justice. The story follows Jordan Sands, a teen whose family inherits a Romanian castle. Jordan unexpectedly turns into a werewolf, attempting to live a normal life with the help of the castle's housekeeper. Prepare to feel *extra* nostalgic in this trip down memory lane to 2010, when "Baby" by Justin Bieber was still a number 1 single, and life was simpler.
This haunting sequel to the debut film tells the story of a group of teens who unlock an old manuscript which reanimates the ventriloquist dummy from the first film, Slappy. This movie is a fun mix of teen comedy and thriller, so even your scaredy-cat best friend could handle it. Don't worry though, you'll be sure to have a few jump scares along the way.
More of a scary gal? Poltergeist is an iconic horror film that *everyone* needs to see. This 1980's classic focuses on Carole Ann, a young girl who becomes fixated with the static TV at night, which happens to have a ghost communicating to her through it. The family experiences extreme chaos from this paranormal activity. From corpses to clown dolls, there's enough action in this movie to spill the popcorn.
Starring Anjelica Huston, otherwise known as the *daunting* Morticia Addams, The Witches is sure to be a certified spooky special. Eight-year-old Luke goes on a vacation with his grandmother in Norway. On his trip, he is warned of the evil witches that despise children and destroy them, who just so happens to be having a witches convention at the very hotel that he is at. For a film that has such a fantastic plot, you might just have to watch it more than once.

Liar, Liar, Vampire
