Everything you missed at the 2023 Grammy Awards

The 2023 Grammy Awards were a *lot*. So much happened in one night, from Harry Styles taking home Album of the Year to Beyoncé breaking the all-time Grammy wins record (talk about history being made). Missed the big night? We've got you covered. Here are all the iconic moments you might've missed, plus our fave looks from the night.

@recordingacademy

Bad Bunny was one of the first performers of the night—and what a way to start the show! He brought big energy and gave a performance to remember. That wasn't the last we saw of him, however, because not too long after that, he took home the Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album for his album, Un Verano Sin Ti.

Harry Styles struck gold with a win for Best Pop Vocal Album, along with four other nominations. To top off his raging success, he donned a tasseled jumpsuit for a fab performance of "As It Was." Recreating moments from the music video, he grooved on a rotating circular stage and connected with background dancers.

Possibly the most exciting moment of the night was watching Beyoncé break the record for most Grammy wins of all time at a whopping 32(!!!). The win that set her over the edge was for Best Dance/Electronic Album with her record Renaissance. Her heartfelt speech brought tears to every BeyHive member's eyes. She went on to thank her family members, the queer community and the Grammys. Unforgettable!

@recordingacademy

Every year, the show pays tribute to those we lost in the music industry. This year, various stars took to the stage to perform in honor of these individuals, including heartfelt performances from Kacey Musgraves and Quavo.

Lizzo took to the stage and reminded everyone that she is the sheer definition of a triple threat. She's already shown the world her flute skills, but her performance at the 2023 Grammys proved that she is a true vocal powerhouse. Performing "Special" from her Grammy-nominated album of the same name, she shared a message of self-love and empowerment—something she expresses a lot in her music. Later in the night, she won the Grammy for Record of the Year, and in her speech, she gave the same message of believing in yourself and staying true to who you are.

Another electric moment of the Grammys was Steve Lacy's "Bad Habit" performance. Masterfully riffing the tune we all know and love, he was joined by Thundercat under vibey pink lighting. He also earned a nod for Best Progressive R&B Album.

Fashion

Harry Styles

We just *had* to include this iconic red carpet look from Mr. Styles himself. He sported an Egonlab jumpsuit encrusted with rainbow Swarovski crystals. The look is reminiscent of some of his past fits, like the "As it Was" music video costume. Clearly, his expert stylist never misses the mark (everyone say thx Harry!).

Taylor Swift

@recordingacademy

We simply cannot discuss Grammy looks without mentioning the queen herself, T-Swift. She channeled her newest album Midnights with this Roberto Cavalli royal blue two-piece set, and it's safe to say we are enchanted. Her look was bejeweled with sapphires and white diamonds, with her statement earrings stealing the entire show. And we can't forget to mention her win for Best Music Video (can she get any cooler?).

Camila Cabello

@camila_cabello and @rahulb91

Camila Cabello is no stranger to the Grammys. Nominated for her hit collaboration with Ed Sheeran, "Bam Bam," Camila was sure to steal the show in this classy and sophisticated look. We loved everything from the Mikimoto pearl earrings and jewelry to her gorgeous hair.

Psst: Wondering how you can emulate Camila's hairstyle? To create the look, her stylist used Great Lengths Tape-In Hair Extensions for extra dimensions. The extensions were razored to create a seamless blend with her natural hair. Pro tip: Layering varying extension shades of your natural color can give your hair dimension while still looking natural.

Doja Cat

@dojacat

Did somebody say iconic? Because the "Say So" icon Doja Cat hit the red carpet in this all-black Versace mermaid gown with a goth-glam hair and makeup look. In addition to her GL award for coolest gown, she also racked up four Grammy noms this year. Go Doja!

Lizzo

@lizzobeeating

Lizzo gave us *everything* on the Grammy red carpet with this Dolce & Gabbana look. The makeup, the dress, the coat, the hair––everything was a serve.

Speaking of Lizzo's stunning hairstyle, if you want to achieve the same elegant, romantic vibe, look no further. Lizzo stylists used Harry Josh Pro Tools for her sleek look. Use the Harry Josh Pro Tools Cordless Flatiron to sculpt some voluminous waves (peep a tutorial here). Finish off your curls with the Harry Josh Pro Tools Cordless Curling Wand to create extra definition around the front pieces.
