Movie Night!

My best friend and I have been inseparable (quite literally) since birth. It's one of those bonds where she knows what I'm going to do or say before I do. We've been through everything together and I honestly don't know where, or who, I'd be without her.

As we've gotten older and acquired our own (very different) schedules, it’s become harder for us to spend time together. That doesn't mean we are any less close, if anything we are more so. Our favorite way to make time for each other? Planning a dinner and movie night!

It's a great way for us to catch up on everything that's been going on in each other's busy lives (including venting about boy issues) and de-stress. Plus, we don't have to drag our guys to the theater to watch films they don't necessarily want to see.

Just this weekend the two of us went to see Bride Wars. The movie was a chick flick, through and through. We laughed (hysterically at times), we cried and we bonded. About two best friends who would be lost without each other, it was something we could totally relate to. The kind of connection we probably wouldn't have made had we been with our guys instead of each other.

At the end of the day, she'll always be my best friend, even if it's sometimes difficult to get together. Our BFF dinner and movie dates are fun, but they're just something little that we share. It's the memories that continue to make our friendship truly special.
