So, who’s a fan of American Idol? Well, 17-year-old Allison Iraheta recently released her debut album, Just Like You.
Her album is a mix of pop/rock songs, with influences pulled from everywhere. As a child, she listened to a variety of music, which ranged from R&B to classic rock and even Spanish music. Her older brother even taught her to play the guitar! Cool, right?

Just Like You has such a great mix of music, and fans of Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry and No Doubt, among others, will definitely feel these tunes. Check out some of our fave tracks:
“Friday I’ll Be Over U” is the first single from the album, and it’s easy to see that Allison is going to be big. The song has the rock feel, but when the chorus comes around, you just wanna get up and dance!
“Still Breathing” is one of the slower rock songs on the album, and any girl who’s been through heartbreak can relate to the lyrics.
