yeah, I just finished my emergency girl scouts thin mints cookies! I got in a staining war today so my arms and ears look like i had an accident with tanning lotion. I got some stain (the stuff for wood) in my mouth so I ate the cookies, my stomach ache is gone!!! yay! <3 Olivia T.

hey girl, That is tough, my mom got a REALLY BAD divorce a few years ago. I would be there to support her, send her cards of how your summer is going (from my experience, the more normal things are the better when you are going through that. I would maybe throw a slumber party, invite your friends and her friends over and maybe make it a surprise. She really need someone to be understanding of her situation. Don't bring it up, let her start talking about it (for some people it is better to be distracted and others need to talk about it!) Be her shoulder to cry on and listen to how she may curse about how "awful" her life may feel. I wouldn't tell her things could be worse, when people would tell me that it would make me feel like a drama queen and nobody understood!) Listen and agree with her, try to gently lift her out of her anger by distractions like slumber parties. Remind her over and over and over again, she is #1 to her mom and dad and that their problems are not because of her. It sounds like you may need to be giving her ongoing support, come back and I can help you out! <3 Olivia T.
