I also Irish Dance, with Socil Rince Slievloughane. I started back in fifth grade and learned my light jig, reel, single jig and treble jig before my first feis. A few months after, I learned 2 steps to the slip jig. I then went to the Portland feis back in October and did the Beginner 1 in slip jig, reel, and light jig and Beginner 2 with single jig. I know a few ceili dances- walls of Limerick, Crossing Light Jig, Circle Reel, 4 hand, and a "line" dance-St. Patrick's Day. A new girl began going to my studio and I found out that she is a novice in almost all her dances, she is 7 years old and hasn't competed as much as some of the older girls in the class above me. Whats your favorite dance? Sometimes I get a dance stuck in my head and I have to dance a little bit of it to get it out. It drives my mom nuts! Does this happen at all to you?

I do Irish dance too. I also compete. I am only beginner though. I just started a couple of motnhs ago. I got 1st place for my light jig. I go to Comerford School of Irish Dance. Where do you go??

thats really cool! its sounds like youre really commited! Thats how I am about music and sports. I used to be in ballet but it got expensive so my mom pulled me out
