Can I make my period come faster?

I know I should wait for Mother Nature to do her thing, but I'm curious…

Hey GL! I keep on getting sighns of my period, like aches, cramps and other things. Why isn't it coming? Please answer!

Bonjour chicky! Don't worry, it should be coming soon. You usually get the symptoms of your period before you actually get the period itself. Just make sure you have a pad or tampon with you at all times for it may be coming before you know it

Actually there's no way to speed up that process. But you can make it Look like you have. Get a padded bra and add tissues. Easy. But you should wait until your body is ready. You dont get to live without it forever! (:

I NEED HELP.
I have three questions.
1. When I have my period for the first time, does it still come daily right off of the bat?
2. Can I feel it when it comes without looking for the first time?
3. If I have hair-down-there, BO, and boobs, how can I know when it is coming or even get a prediction?
THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE.
Yours truly, Ashlee

Hey girlie! Check out this article on your first period: http://www.girlslife.com/post/2010/10/18/First-Period-Prep.aspx.

Yes you can feel it the first time and you should feel cramping shortly before your period arrives (as well as breast tenderness) Smile

Why does your period stop in water? How does that work?
Thanks a billion times in advance

Hey girlie. Your period doesn't stop in water. It just flows into the water and you can't really see it.

no you guys are sooo lucky I would kill to not have a period. I got mine when i was 11! NO one else in my class has one (or not that I know of) and we're in 7th grade now!

I'm 14 almost 15 years old and i still haven't started my period. All the other girls in my class already have. I really want to start it before i go to high school this coming year. I know its suppose to be a hereditary thing, but i was adopted so I have no idea of knowing when I should get it. Is something wrong with me? Is there anything I can do?
