Hey is there a specic food that u can eat for weight loss? i also have another question... how do u do the butterfly stroke 4 swimming... cause i heared that it helps u loose fat fast in ur core area... thank u!

 

Hey girl,

There are no specific foods you can eat to spark weight loss - instead, eat a balanced diet of three or four meals a day, protein like chicken and fish, veggies, fruits, grains, and try to lay off the junk food. Pair that with exercise once a day and you will be on the highway towards healthy! As for the butterfly stroke, start by putting your arms in a position to do the breaststroke (where you push the water to the sides from in front of you). Then, instead of turning your palms out, turn them down. Then take your arms and, from the shoulder, circle them back, then forward, then back again in a large circular motion. It requires lots of arms strength to propel yourself through water this way, but it's great for your bod!

Also, if I am 11 (almost 12) years old, weigh 94 pounds, and am 5 foot 1 inch, is that fat? Or skinny, or in the middle?? Thank you sooo much, your answers will help me a TON! I don't know what I would do without my MODS from GL ;)

I want to go jogging in the mornings, i live in the city, and i used to jog with a friend, but she moved. so i wanted to start jogging alone. but every morning when i wake up i just chicken out. and say well its too cloudy, or cold, or there r too many people outside...any advice on what can get me motivated more? thx^_^




Hey chickie,

Sometimes what helps me is having a brand new pair of sneaks or a workout tank top - I know it sounds shallow, but having something that I bought specifically for the run makes me excited to use it! You should also constantly remind yourself of the benefits - how good you'll feel, how good you'll think you look, how strong you'll feel after you work up stamina, etc. You can also reward yourself when you get home - NOT with sweets, but with some other "gift" that will motivate you during your run. I know you can do it!
