I don't know if I want to go to homecoming, I afraid I will be asked to dance, I really don't like to.

 

If you don't like to dance, you don't have to! If a guy you like asks you to dance, you can always stay upbeat and say something like "I was actually just gonna go outside to get some fresh air - wanna come with me instead?" That way, you get some hangout time with the guy without having to dance

I guess I don't really have a specific question, I'm just confused. There's this guy that I like, he's a year older than me but 2 school years ahead of me. A lot of my friends think he likes me back. But there's this other girl that's in his grade and they always hold hands and hug (I'm not gonna lie, I am a little jealous of her) and I was talking to him about it yesterday and he said they're not going out and that they used to but they broke up a year ago. And another thing I've noticed is that when he's stressed (which is a lot of the time because he is a leader in band so he's in charge of all of our section and we r not very well behaved haha) he doesn't talk to her as often. So yeah I'm just confused :/
