I love thrift stores. You can find such cool stuff, and it is so cheap, but make sure you wash it first.

Wow, that is amazing. My friend goes to this thrift store that sells high end designers dresses and clothes and she finds the most unbelievable things. We are so jealous because she not only gets high end clothes but she looks great in them.

I <3 this post. I love shopping at thrift stores, there are so many cool things there. I've rescued a nice shirt before, I just had to replace buttons and re-hem it. It was time consuming, but SO worth it. These kind of things aren't hard and they totally pay off. I can do it and I'm 12. x) Elizabeth

I've never mended a thrift store dress that was a wreck. It's too much time and energy, in my opinion. I'm not really good with those kinds of things, so it would just be a lot easier for me to buy a dress that wasn't a complete mess.

Every year my girl scout troop holds a fashion show. We get all the clothes from the co-op then fix them up and sell them and give all the money to the co-op

I do this kind of stuff all the time!!! i mainly do jewlery tho. I take old jewelry and take it apart and then turn it into something new. =-)
