Is swearing a major turnoff to guys?

Is swearing a major turnoff to guys?

His Answer: “Yes it is, everyone slips every now and again, but guys don’t expect girls to be rugged and use profanity," dishes Kemp, 16. "Girls who use profanity tend to come off as self-conscious because they don’t care about themselves enough to talk and conduct themselves with dignity.”

Decoded: We can’t be prefect ladies ALL the time, but constantly cursing can reflect poorly on your character. Guys wanna show off a girl that’s proud of who she is, not someone who hides behind nasty language.

Your Move: Next time you curse think about how it looks to other people. What kind of perception are you giving others? There’s nothing wrong with being one of the guys, but it’s important to remember that your crush may not dig the nasty language. He’s probably looking for a gal that he can introduce to his ‘rents and you wouldn’t wanna use bad language in front of them would ya? It can be hard when profanity has become such a huge part of our culture, but taking a second to think about what message you’re really sending can only help you in the long run.
