Bust exercise boredom with these 3 interval workouts

 

It may seem hard to believe with all the stretching and sweating, but working out can get super boring. The good news? It doesn't have to be. Interval workouts are a fun, exciting way to shake up your sweat sesh. Check out our three faves below...

1. Jump for joy

- Jump rope for 2 minutes as quickly as you can.

- Rest for 2 minutes.

- Jump rope for 1.5 minutes

- Rest for 1.5 minutes.

- Jump rope for 1 minute.

- Rest for 1 minute.

- Jump rope for 30 seconds.

- Rest for 30 seconds.

- Repeat 2-3 times!

 

2. Pool partners

- Begin with 8-10 laps.

- Sprint 2 laps.

- The moment you finish, your partner sprints 2 last while you rest.

- Repeat 10 times.

 

3. Stationary cycle

- Warm-up for 5-10 minutes, cycling slowly until you find a comfortable resistance.

- Pedal as fast as you can for 20 seconds.

- Bike *super* slowly for 10 seconds.

- Continue alternating for a total of 8 times.

- Cool-down for 5-10 minutes at an easy tempo.
