Congrats to Adia R, the lucky winner of our Standing Ovation for Mom contest! Bummed you didn't win? Well, girlies, time to give it another go! Yep, you guessed it—the Standing Ovation for Dad contest!

Dads are our everyday heroes. They have a magical knack for fixing anything, and they can teach you how to do a back dive or change a bike flat. We so admire Dads for all the things they do for us.

In the movie Standing Ovation, the 5 Ovations use their determination and talent to dance, sing, and dream big even though their funds and resources are limited.

We know how much YOU appreciate the support and determination your Dad gives you to dream big. And, like the 5 Ovations, we also know you have limited resources to give him the huge thanks that he deserves.

Here’s how to enter…

CLICK HERE then, in the body of the e-mail, tell us in why your Dad* (see below for our definition!) is your everyday hero. Please keep at 500 words or less and be sure to send in a pic of you and your dad with your entry (JPEG file over 100K but under 3M in size please!).

We’ll be posting our top three entries right here on Girlslife.com. Then, on June 17th, log on to StandingOvationMovie.com for the big winner's announcement! HURRY, contest ends at 9p EDT on June 13, 2011.

* To us, a father is someone who is always there giving you unconditional love, confidence, strength and courage. The father figure you select to write about can be an uncle, grandpa, older brother, other male adult in your life that means so much to you.
