Here's how to cure wanderlust while you're still stuck at home

Let's face it— we've all taken a deep dive on Pinterest at 1 am scrolling through pics of the most beautiful destinations and said to ourselves, "I need to be there *right* now." Of course, picturing yourself in a quaint cafe in Paris is a whole lot easier than actually making the trip. So how do you cure that anywhere-but-here feeling fast? We've rounded up three quick and easy solutions to help cure your wanderlust.

1. Treat yo' self
One of the best parts of any trip is the food, not to mention how much you can learn about a place through its signature dishes. Whether you run to the grocery store for some gelato or make homemade pasta for the whole fam, you're sure to get a taste (literally) of your dream destination. Play some music from that place, close your eyes and picture all those out-to-dinner-on-vacay vibes.

2. Take it all in
The key to making any place interesting is its people, stories, and art. Foreign museums can be *so* captivating, so why not learn and see the same things from your bedroom? Immerse yourself in the culture of your destination—scour the web for fun facts, big events/people in history or some amaze pieces of art. Another fun way to learn about a place is to watch a movie in that language, or even just one that takes place there (we see you, Mamma Mia stans).

3. Fake it 'til you make it
There's two types of travelers—the planners and the loungers. Luckily, this last tip works for both. If you're a planner, create the perfect itinerary for your dream trip. Where will you stay? For how long? What's on your must-see list? Plan your trip down to the minute. If you're more likely to go with the flow on your vacay, all good. Head to Pinterest and craft the ideal vacation moodboard for your destination. Find outfit and photo inspo along with some pics that perfectly capture the vacay vibes you're craving.

And just like that, you're cured! There's so many ways to bring a faraway place to you.
