The 9 stages of Senioritis

All the big kids who came before you warned ya but you never believed them until now. Senioritis is real, and it goes it lil somethin’ like this:

It’s the first day and you’re all like, “yes, this is totally my year! I’m ready to rock!”

Until you realize half your friends are only part time students. WHY DIDN’T YOU DO PART TIME?!

Before ya know it, it’s midterm time and you just feel like everybody is soo much more prepared than you are.

Phew! It’s finally winter break are you’re way too happy to be home. You never thought you’d see the day when you’re actually excited to be stuck with your family for 3 weeks straight.

But of course, all good things must come to an end. It’s the first day back from break, and as you pull up to the school you’re practically begging your mom to turn the car around and let you stay home forever.

Now it’s like April and this whole time you’re all like “Hey, at least I have prom to look forward to,” but when it finally happens, you’re slightly disappointed that it wasn’t as enchanting as Taylor Swift made it look in the “You Belong With Me” music video.

You coast on by for a few months and you notice that the closer you get to the last the day the dumber you actually become.

Graduation day is here, and you’re so excited. The struggle was real, but girl, you made it! You are so ready to live it up this summer.

…. And then in the midst of all your graduation excitement you realize that college is another four years of school. *Sigh*

Don’t worry! In between all the ups and downs of senior year, you’ll make tons of amazing memories that will last forever. Keep your head up and finish the second half of the school year strong. You’re only 4 more stages away from the Ariana Grande graduation dance.
