It’s time to Dance. Sing. Dream. And then WIN a trip to LA for the worldwide premiere of Standing Ovation plus a role in the next film!
Hitting the big screen on Friday July 16th, Standing Ovation will get you on your feet—singing, dancing and ready to chase your dreams.
When five junior high friends form a singing group called “The 5 Ovations,” they know they want to take their talent all the way to the top. So the group competes in a national music video contest for a cash prize of one million dollars!

With limited funds and resources, these street-smart teens use their wits, courage and passion to create spectacular song and dance numbers. They are so good, they soon rival their biggest competitors, “The Wiggies”—five rich but ruthless sisters who, along with their parents, will stop at nothing to win.

Dance. Sing. Dream. And WIN BIG!
As a student of Barbizon we know you’re a star in the making. For over 70 years, Barbizon Modeling has been the school for aspiring models as well as actors, singers, dancers—basically if you’ve got serious talent Barbizon is the place for you!
With so much talent floating around the Barbizon schools we thought we’d extend a special opportunity your way!
We want you to get inspired by “The Wiggies” and create your own music video to their original song “Blush.” It’s time to Dance. Sing. Dream. And then WIN a trip to LA for six people (one person must be a guardian or parent) to the worldwide premiere of the most rockin' movie of the summer, Standing Ovation! You will get to walk the red carpet, meet the cast and go to the exclusive after party at Universal Studios.
NOW FOR THE EXCLUSIVE BONUS PRIZE! As a Barbizon student, if your video is chosen as the winner, you will snag a role in the Standing Ovation sequel!
Dying to enter GL’s Dance. Sing. Dream Contest? Here’s how:

1. Get your BFFs together or go solo.
2. Decide if you want to sing, dance (or both!) to “Blush” from Standing Ovation. Look below for links to lyrics, music and loads of inspiration.
3. Video your best 60-second performance to any part of the song. No need to be fancy–use the video on your cell phone, digital camera, camcorder or computer.
4. E-mail the file (10M or smaller, please) to standingovationbarbizon@girlslife.com.
5. HURRY! ALL VIDEOS MUST BE IN BY 11:59pm EST on JUNE 27th

THE FINALS:
On June 28th, we’ll post our top 10 fave videos so you can vote for your fave as many times as you want. Voting ends at 11:59pm EST on July 4th.

THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: 
We’ll announce the winner at 10am EST on July 5th. But you better have your bags packed, our winner will only have 12 hours to confirm she’ll be the lucky gal jetting off to LA with her guardian and four guests! (And, just to be clear, girlies, the winner will be the girl who submits the video and she alone determines who she brings so let your backup dancers know the score upfront).

Sing along to either of the MP3 versions (one version is with the singers and one is a karaoke track) until you’ve got it nailed. Then bust out your own musical rendition.
