Want a full-on fab body scrub? We’ve got a sweet one you can whip up at home. It’s gentle on your skin and less dehydrating than a salty variety. Use this all-over body scrub before bathing as an exfoliator before you self use self-tanner. Like a trip to the spa, but wayyy friendlier on your wallet! Ingredients: *1/4 cup granulated sugar *2 tablespoons light oil, such as almond, canola, or sunflower *2 tablespoons milk Directions: Mix together all the ingredients into a smooth cream. To use: Before bathing, gently massage the mixture all over your body to increase circulation and remove dry, flaky skin. Make sure you are standing on a towel or inside the shower. Rinse your skin with warm water and moisturize well. Makes 4 ounces, enough for one treatment!

here are some other good "beauty potion" recipes that you can make at home: oatmeal smoothie face mask: (for combo, oily, normal skin) 3 tablespoons of old-fashioned (not instant) oatmeal, uncooked. 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt mix the oatmeal and yogurt into a paste and pat onto your face. keep on for 15 min. then rinse off with warm water. Papaya mask (for normal to dry skin) 1/2 papaya, 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt lightly mask half a papaya in a bowl with the yogurt. rub it on ur face. let the fruit dry about 10 min. rinse with warm water. Banana mash mask (for all skin types) 1 ripe banana, 1 teaspoon honey mash banana with fork in a bowl. dont overmash or it will get runny. mix in the honey. spread mask all over ur face and let sit for 10 min. rinse clean with lukewarm water. avacodo mask (normal to dry skin) 1 plealed avacodo (cut it in half and take the pit out) 2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil mash up avacodo and mix in olive oil. apply to face. let sit for 10 min. rinse off with warm water. then wash ur face with facial soap (i prefer aveeno brand) to get the extra olive oil off ur face. let me know if u have any questions about beauty stuff! or anything else. i give good advice in general
makeup&beautyadvice on 6/30/2009 11:26:06 PM
I just use regular sugar. Every morning i just take a handful of sugar in my hands, put a LITTLE water in it to make it kinda pastey, then i scrub gently all over my face. then i rinse it off and wash my face with aveeno calming face wash. then i put on aveeno calming face lotion. my skin looks all nice and polished. DO NOT USE SALT! it will dry out ur skin and do the opposite of wht ur trying to to with the scrub which is make ur skin look smooth, not dry. and always wash ur face AFTER u use the sugar. otherwise ull have leftover, sticky sugar residu on ur face. comment my profile if you have any questions on beauty stuff!

o ive tried this before! it works really well! but instead of smoothing it on urself, it works better to pour it in the tub and soak
Yogurt567 on 6/30/2009 9:17:51 AM

O and if some of you girls have unexplainable acne if it started at a very young age or if you you know it defiantly is not puberty u may be allergic to chocolate all of those happened to me it started in grade 2 i found i was allergic to chocolate when i was in grade four I'm so satisfied with pro-activ but I'm gonna try some of those other tips from beautytipper24 and for those who didn't read her 3 super long paragraphs GO BACK AND READ THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
nellyl on 6/30/2009 12:31:58 AM
its great 4 before-shaving exfoliation! yes u can use veggie oil, its the same as canola oil. i usually put a bit more sugar in to make it thicker.
brooklin175 on 6/28/2009 9:53:26 PM
I TRIED THIS!,,,yeah doesnt work too well. i think if u add more sugr and less oil then its better. honestly,,,,it wasn;t very good.the milk and oil dont mix so yougetone layer of messy oil thenanother of like milk.
blondenotdumb on 6/27/2009 7:38:09 PM
