Hey babe, use a couple different colors at once! Don't over-do it, that could get clown-like! But try one color for a liner, one for a shadow and one for highlight or contour. Use natural colors, that should look good!

A soft neutral color would work well, like a soft pearly white.  Also, check out a local make up counter and have the sales person help you try on a few colors to see what works best.

MOD i have the most amazing eyeshadow stick ever! the color is so pretty. The problem is, that it is a cream eyeshadow and everytime i put it on, it creases and totally ruins the look. what is something that i can use to make sure this doesnt crease without spending cash? is there something i already have i can use? Hey, why not try patting some babypowder on before you apply it? Don't get it in your eyes of course! A lot of makeup stores sell eyeshadow primer too, which should help!

As far as the sweating issue, have you tried a few different deoderents?  Sometimes you have to try a few before you find one that works well with you.  If you are still having a problem, then maybe trying seeing a doc.  If you really like this guy then show him.  Flirt a little, give him a wink every now and then, or invite him out to a movie with some mutual friends and see what happens.  He might only be a friend because you haven't given him any reason to think otherwise.

Hey Chickie,







You could mention an eyeshadow you saw on a friend or on tv and ask her what would think of the color on you.  You could also just say that you were thinking about trying out some makeup and suggest stopping by a make up spot at the mall so someone can show you how to apply everything.  It would be a great way to include your mom in what choices and look you go for, which she might feel better about.  Also, any make up you do wear, keep it natural and simple.

I don't think you should match it fist with your eye color...match it first with skin tone then with eyes...cause if you get a tone that looks good with eyes it might look really bad with skin tone; it depends...I match with skin tone then with eyes so it matches both and my eye shadow looks great with my skin tone AND my eyes pop!

i feel like my dad/mom never lets me do anything. when my(older)brothers get to do stuff with friends, they say no to me.
i've always wondered why. i used to think cause i'm "daddy's little girl" and daddy's little girl can't grow up.
but just 5 minutes ago, i asked my mom if we could leave now, so i could go play at the basketball game(i'm in pepband). and she said no. even though she said i could earlier.
i asked them why not, and my dad replied, "Cause your evil".
i'm NOT evil. i know that. my friends say i'm one of the sweetest girls they've met. and i act the same way around my family.
i just feel hurt. my dad called me...evil.

Your dad shouldn't say that type of stuff and maybe you have to sit down with him and let him know that it hurt your feelings.  As far as your parents letting your brother do stuff and not you may have to do with the fact he's older.  Sometimes it's hard for parents to watch their kids grow up, especially if you're the youngest one.  You may have to give it some time, but do let them know your feelings and see if you can come to a compromise about it.

Maybe try something a bit more subtle like a soft pearl white, or even a neutral peach or taupe (light tan/brown).  Also, stop by a make up counter or someplace like Sephoria, and try out a bunch of shades before you buy them.  You might be surprised what works for you!

I would say get a smaller group of friends together and have your bud invite him.  This way you'll be in a smaller setting outside of school and you can chat with him.  Ask him questions about himself, it's the best way to get him talking and feel comfortable.

ok i actually have 2 questions:
1. the eyeshadow thing is good, but my eyes are blue-green and i have no idea what color would work for them! can you help?
2. ok my other question is ... i wanna start wearing tampons (i've had my period for a year) but i dont know what size/absorbency. i think my flow is pretty heavy .. i go through about 5-6 pads a day and it lasts 6-8 days. help!

Hey Girl,







A really nice soft peach, pink or even a soft pearly white would look great with your eye color.  I would suggest buying a multi pack of tampons, it has lite, regular and super.  That way you have all of them available and just try each one out, trial and error will help you decide which one works at what time.  Also, always wear a liner with the tampon just in case.

Hey Babes,







First off create a good base for the make up to go over.  The weather is super harsh right now so try using a face scrub in the shower (apricot scrubs works great!)  this will help take off the dry skin flakes and after you get out of the shower apply face lotion thats suited for your skin type (combo: oily and dry or just dry. Neutrogena works really well) this way your pores are open and will absorb the lotion better.  Make sure that the foundation you're using is also for your skin type and that it's not old, that can sometimes make it appear flaky.

MOD! Ok, well a couple questions!!! How do you provide a answer to a modding question? And a body question: I was doing the thigh and hip exersize, and when I was done whenever I bent my knees, my legs would shake like crazy!!!!! It that bad, or is it normal for a first time exersizer????? Plz help me!

It depends on the question that we're answering.  Sometimes we have to check out some info in order to get back to you girls and sometimes our answers are based off of what we know.  With your exercise it's usually pretty normal when you start out, or start a new exercise to shake a little, just make sure you're not straining at all.

I get REALLY bad razor bumps on my bikini line when I shave. I have tried the special bikini line shave gel and I put lotion on all the time. The bumps are big and red, and they HURT! What can I do?













Hey Chick,







The best way to handle this is to set aside a razor that's only for that, this way the blade will stay sharp (the dull blade can make the bumps worse).  Also, after your done shaving use a cream thats especially for razor burn, try Noxzema Bikini.

I would say any make up you wear, keep it simple and natural looking.  Green would look nice on your eyes, also look into a soft pink or peach.

Alright, i have brown eyes, and i've found that it works amazingly to have dark black eyeshadow and eyeliner, with a line of red eyeliner just under the black on the lower eyelid. It makes your eyes look orangeish, like a tiger's.
And what always looks good? Black on just the eye, with hot pink above all the way to the browbone. (don't know all the technical terms) but it really makes your eyes look bright. going over the top with the pink around your eyes too, all fairy-like, also is amazing.
(warning, take no hints from me if you are looking for something...subtle XD )

MOD! Hey! I have a school dance tonight (technically its the "Valentine's Dance" but theres not really anyone who dresses up or brings a date! Its like a regular, casual school dance). I have no idea what to wear! its pretty cold outside, but its really hot in there! We dance for over 2 hours (7:30-9:30) but its mostly jumpnig up and down and stuff. I'm going with a group of girls, and known of us have any ideas! I don't want to wear long sleeves, because it gets so hot, but we're not allowed to wear spagetti straps. I don't want to wear shorts, but I think Jeans are too hot! I don't have any skirts that aren't very short! ah! Help!

 

Hey babe, I'd go with jeans and a shirt with little sleeves. Or wear tights or leggings with a skirt and boots and a shirt. Bring a cute jacket that you can take on and off when ya want! Have fun!
