Scary School Sitch

My friend has gotten sexually assaulted online via AIM by this boy from our school. He has sent her graphic IMs, videos, etc. Once he asked her for a picture and she gave him one since she was scared.


Now that I know the story I am trying to convince her to report him to someone but she won't listen. She's told her parents about a few of the less sexual IMs but they don't know about the video when he undressed and well...


Girls at our school have gotten expelled for doing such things and so have guys. Is there any way to report this boy without getting my friend expelled?

It must be really tough for you to not be able to tell everything since you fear that your friend will get kicked out. I'm sorry that your friend has to suffer like this. But, it's now up to you to protect your friend from this boy who has harassed her. This is a really tough sitch, but you can def help your pal out.


Please tell a trusted teacher,and/or your parents the whole story. This may be tough but the boy who harassed your friend MUST be punished for what he did. Your friend will not get expelled if she didn't say or show anything sexual online. If anything, the boy who harassed her will get expelled.


When your friend tells her story, make sure she tells the whole truth. Also, get a trusted teacher or your parents to help you talk to your friend's parents about what really happend. She may be upsetbut in the end, she will be thankful that you helped her.


Online harrasment is against the law and your friend has a legal right to report this. A few years back, a young girl named Megan Mier was harassed on MySpace and was ridiculed. She later committed suicide because of this harrasment. Since you care about your friend, wouldn't you want her to be safe from people who want to hurt her online?


Since your pal is going through so much, suggest that she should talk to a trusted teacher, counselor and even open up to her parents. When she's able to talk out her fears and frustrations, she will be able to deal with this situation better. I wish you and your friend a lot of luck. I hope that your friend and you will pull through this horrible ordeal.

Hey girl! If you're doing a sportier event, I would suggest picking out an outfit that's both sports-friendly and comfy and cute. Try shorts or jeans paired with a cute tee or tank top. You could have fun styling your hair with pretty accessories to keep your hair off of your face but also super cute!

My bgf , Jake hasnt been so great lately. He has been getting mad easily and he has a short temper. He hangs up on my friend and I all the time. Nicole, Jake, and I used to be the best of friends. Now he is making up excuses and not talking to us on the pohne anymore. Today at school he said he wasnt my firend anymore , and I start crying ( not in front of him). Nicole tried to comfort me , then she started crying. So we went to the counselor and she called jake in. Then he got mad at us for not telling him about going to the consuler. What do i do?

okay. now thats rrrreeeaaallllyy scary. and yes i think there is a way to not get your friend in trouble. you can say that your friend was doing these....things... out of PEER PRESSURE and that she was scared (well, she probably was. who wouldnt!) that the guy doing these things was going to hurt her. i heard this story about this girl who was chatting on the internet and the guy was getting to0...you know. anyways, after she said i don't wanna talk to you again, he started to stalk her. so yes, you do want to help your friend and tell your guidence conselour or who ever about this situation so the guy can get sum HELP! and it also might help your friend make better choice in her future

i am running for student council VP at school, and i can kinda garantee that im gonna lose because all of the other people that are running are really popular. the teachers say that we have to vote for the best canidate but everyone votes for their friends. since i dont have a lot of friends, i think that there is no point in running since i have a good idea that im gonna lose. i want to win because all of the other people who r running have already had a place before. what should i do???

Sounds like your friend has a pretty creepy stalker . My friend Sadie has a weird stalker person/thing, Ryan, and when he gets in a 10 foot radius of her I tell him to fall into a well or I get all up in his face and scream at him.He says I scare him. Haha, Ryan, haha.

Well in my opinion, at the moment your friend probably liked the attention from the boy and so she gave him that pic of her...not because she was scared. Then after sleeping on that decision, she felt guilty and regretted it and wanted to tell a good friend like you. She probably just told you that she was scared as a cover up. But thats just my opinion...lol i have no clue what went on with your friend and that boy.

Gross, that is just wrong and nasty for him to send you videos and pictures, guys do some gross things on their webcams and I think that is is terrible for that to happen. If he keeps doing and sending things you need to tell the school principal.

And Megan Mier, that was so sad that she felt so bad that she would do that. It just shows that we need to be nice and good and not mean and nasty to people.

Hey babes,  Leave your hair down, take a small section from either side of your head, braid and connect in the back with and elastic and tie a ribbon to cover the elastic.  With your friend give yourself some distance for the rest of the day and speak to her one on one when you calm down.  Let her know that she seemed pretty upset about her issue with her crush and that her actions upset you just as much.  She broke your trust and you had to distance yourself because she seemed as if she didn't care about how her actions made you feel.  Let her know the friendship means a lot to you and you would like to work this issue out.  Xo Lori

{i have 2 questions}
1. okay, so me and my bff's also have best guy friends. well two of our bgf's were like best friends but then they had a huge fight last summer, so they don't alk to each other anymore and they are always putting each other down. (which is making us mad). well one of them has kind of kept a distance b/c the other one is always hanging around us! we miss the one that is keeping a distance and the one that is always hanging out with us is so getting on our nerves!! what should we do??
2. the one who is getting on our nerves is also acting like he likes us and gets TOO close to us! it is getting really awkward! what should we do about this too??

Hey girl,

Why don't you tell your other friend you miss him? He's probably staying away because his ex-friend is hanging around, so try to balance your time with them! As for the other guy, the next time he does something to make things awkward tell him in a nice but firm way that he's going to far.

Wow, that sounds like a big prob. The best thing you can do is sincerely apologize to your 'rents and ask if you guys can compromise; like, if they let you go to Friday's dance, you'll agree to be grounded for the next weekend and do your chores. Let them know the dance is really important to you. Just make sure to keep your cool when discussing this with mom and dad - they'll respond better if you're calm than if you're crying and screaming. Wow... that's terrible. I was being harrassed by someone for a while, but it was via text and real life. Eventually, I stopped talking to him because he wasn't doing me any good. He was a jerk and made me think he was my friend, and then victimized me.
