Boost Your Workout!

 
Now that school’s winding down and vacay’s around the corner, why not use your free time to increase your exercise? Make your workout more of a challenge (that’s a good thing, we promise!) by following our tips. You’ll get faster results and have a sunnier outlook.

Up Those Weights
Lotsa times girls don’t wanna go full-out in the weight room. If you’ve been doing the same routine for a while, increase the amount of weight you’re lifting. Swap your 3-lb hand weights for 5-pounders or get a Kettlebell that’s a bit heftier. Either way, you’ll up the bennies for your muscles.

Do Mini Cardio Bursts
Don’t just sit there! Add crazy cardio to your sweat sesh. Even if you’re doing something low-key (like yoga or Pilates), add some extra movement. Think: sprints up and down the driveway or jumping jacks. Do 1-2 minutes of cardio between each set of weights, too.

Add a Fun Day
If you normally exercise 3 days a week, consider tacking another into the sched. Make it something you totally love, whether that’s playing field hockey with your girls, playing a game of pick-up volleyball or doing laps in the pool. What a blast!
