sunbug, my reccomendation is an aerie bra it's a sister store to American Eagle. Get the Grace or the Katie they are really good. They are pricy but have a lifetime warranty!

Hey girlie, you would have to be tested some symptoms can be dormant for long periods of time. Herpes you would see bumps down in your genitial area and it would be itchy.

Hey chica! Sounds like you have discharge, which is a totally normal sign of puberty/maturing. It doesn't neccessarily mean that you'll get your period right away though. You could even have it for a year or so before you get your period. Discharge usually is one of the first signs though that your period is on its way something in the near future though.

There are these popular girls that "rule" my grade. They are rude, mean, wear inappropriate clothes that break the dress code, and are super immature and annoying! Everyone thinks they're "so great" but there's NO way they are! The bully people and steal other girl's crushes, even when the crush likes her back. How do I get people to stop thinking highly of them, and stop "ruling" everyone? And DON'T say just ignore them, or let it go, they're not worth it, all that stuff that does NOT help one tiny bit! Hey girl, even if it doesn't seem like it a lot of people in your grade probably feel the same way about these girls. No one likes it when people who are mean get lots of attention, but honestly sometimes it can't be helped. I know you feel like something needs to be done, but there is not much you can do to stop mean girls from being mean. Everyone will eventually see how mean they are, but until then make friends with people who are kind and genuine. Getting angry and doing something to stop the "popular girls" will probably lead to you being hurtful to others (seen the movie Mean Girls?). I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but don't let your hatred of them rule your life at school...just be you and make friends with people who you like. Good luck!

Thx for answerin my question.... but I was wonderin how I could kinda lose my tummy... My core is kinda strong but I dont hav a flat stomach or good abs... My mom tries to get me to wear bikinis but she said that if Im uncomfortable in them I dont have to wear them... I even uncomfortable in them when I in the fitting rooms alone at the mall.... also all the girls from my school wear bikinis and look great in them... They eat junk food all the time and I eat healthy but they look like perfect and I am like fat.... What should I do???

 

Everybody's body is different and it's important to have a good body image. Everyone has a different metabolism, too, but it's always better to keep a more healthy diet - and since you're doing that, that will help you in the long run! You shouldn't have to wear a bathingsuit you don't feel comfortable in, but to tone up a little maybe you could do some crunches or exercises on your abs. Also, I don't feel like anyone will be judging you if you wear a bikini - so don't worry about people picking apart what you don't like about your body. Translation: Is there a clique of girls in your school/grade that is the most popular but they are rude to other people? okay so im almost sixteen so its ridiculous that im even having this problem, but when i shave my armpits theyre never completely smooth, like theres always black dots everywhere, and im talking its like that the second after i shave. so it looks like i havent shaved even though i just have. they are very bumpy and rough, and i have random red swells on them, not many ay a time, but they sting and it always burns while i am shaving. im in a performance company and have many dance recitals at my studio so i need to make them look completely smooth but nothing is working. i cant use nair or anything like that because my skin is too sensitive. please help, thank youu!




Hey girly, that happens because you can only shave the part above the skin, and the actual hair follicles remain under the skin, which is what you're seeing. the red swelling might be because of ingrown hairs. make sure you always use a sharp razor and shaving cream, and try shaving in the opposite direction -- it might help you not get any more. you might also be sensitive to fragrances in your shaving cream or deodorant, so try using fragrance free or sensitive skin kinds!

Okay, so I really like this boy, his name is Gabe. My friend Alex has been liking him like CRAZY for about 3 weeks. That's why she broke up with her ex, Jay. It all started out when she was dating Jay. I liked Jay too! We decided that it would be outside the realm of our friendship. She pretty much threw herself on him and they dated for a bit.
Now, I like Gabe. She falls for guys WAY TO FAST. I haven't told her I like him yet, because I don't want to be a man-stealer... Gabe's step-sister, Allison (One of my friends) told me that Gabe told her that he liked me (Confuzzling! But true).
The worst part is, that one of Alex's other friends put a note in Gabe's locker saying, "You should go out with Alex." He went straight to me and was like, "WTF IS THIS?!" He doesn't like her, to say the least...

It sounds like you'll be getting it soon!  But unfortunately there's no real way to know exactly when you're going to get your period - it could be next month, could be in a year, could be even more.  Just be prepared with a pad in your purse/backpack and relax!  It'll come when it's ready Smile

And we basically had a "summer relationship" for the past 2 summers and never saw each other again. So, during the school year i had a boyfriend. And we're still together and i like him a lot. MOD! MOD! MOD! I have so many pubic hairs, and the area "Down there" is already bumpy and ive never shaved it! i dont know what to do, when i cut it, it pokes out of my swimsuit! MEGA EMBARASSING! Please give me some advice, i dont want to buy any mosturizers or tell my parents because my mom makes everything extremely awkward.

 

Hey! Have you considered shaving? You need to be careful when you do it but it'll solve the swimsuit problem. Otherwise you should just grow it out. Hope that helps!

Hey gurlie, you don't have to show your mom your underwear. You have two options tell her and ask her if you should be concern or you can ask her if you could go see a doctor if you are more comfortable talking to a doctor then your mother. If you want to talk to your mom don't be afraid to be upfront and say hey mom I've been concerned a little about whats going on with me down there...and then move in to the issue. hope this helps.

Okay, so I'm 11, I'm 5 ft. 5 3.4 inc. I wear a 32 b bra and I weigh 102 lbs. Is this weight good? Am I underweight, overweight or just right? Also, I have a SUPER high metabolism, If I eat a lot during the day I gain about 2-3 pounds but when I wake up in the morning, I've lost it all! Am I normal :/ ?

You may think you need to look like the girls you see in magazines, but beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and confidence is where true beauty lies. If you feel like you need to lose weight we have all kinds of tips for fun exercize and eating right. But take a sec, and think: are you doing this for you or because you worry what other people think? Make yourself happy first, and you'll be beautiful inside and out.

Mod, is it normal for boobs to be sort of pointy? if so, when will mine STOP being???? its really annoying. I hide it with wearing a padded bra under my shirt but its still very uncomfortable and makes me self conscious! is it even normal?




Because your body is going through so many changes, it's totally OK that your boobs look awkward. It happens to most girls before their boobs fill out.  So, don't feel self conscious because you don't need to feel that way! It happens to almost everyone.  If it still bugs you... Keep wearing that padded bra, I'm sure no one even notices!

Hey girl, If you guys have been getting in fights about nothing, it might be a good idea to think about what's worth talking about, and what you can let go.  For example, if you two start fighting over TV shows or what someone said at school, maybe you can just try to blow it over and not turn it into an argument.  But if something is important, like the way she is talking with your crush, have a chat with your bud.  She might not have realized what she was doing.  If you two are meant to be buds, hopefully an open chat will help you sort through the issues that matter.

MODmodMODmodMODmodMOD i'm so mad. see, today was our last day of school and i went out to lunch with my friends ben, jessica, and paul after school(it was a half day). after we ate we went to the candy store. i got a jawbreaker on a stick. after that we went to the park and some other kids in our grade were there. they came over to us and asked if we were double dating. we said no and the kids were like "their to immature to date anyway" and laughed! then this kid who i met at camp, who used to be real sweet, took my jawbreaker and threw it in the river! then another kid, who actually used to be my friend, called my friend jessica and i ugly! all those kids live near me, so how am i sopposed to deal with them all summer?! I just got back from vacation to find my two friends fighting. I have no idea what's going on, so when I asked the two of them they gave me two completely different stories! I don't want to chose sides, since I barely know what the fight is about. I want to help both of them clear it up, but I don't want to keep asking them or "investigating", since they don't really seem in the mood to talk about it. Hey babe! You could plan games that could be played inside or out...like charades, skits, trivia games, Pic-tionary, board games. You could make crafts (this you could do outside or in), maybe even set up a canopy, so you can start your party outside and head under the canopy if the weather looks bad.

I have a guy friend that I really liked for a while, but I decided that it was better for us to stay friends. He went on a 2 day trip back in April and when he came back, he wouldn't talk to me. I tried texting him, but he never replied.
Today, I got one of my friends to text him and ask if he and I were friends. He said, "Well, she's in love with me, if that's what you mean... It's kinda weird." I don't know why he would think that unless someone told him, and I think I know who it would be. I don't know what to do because I'm afraid we're not friends anymore. I think he feels awkward around me now. I don't want to lose him as a friend. Help!




Hey girl, he may have gotten the wrong idea and is probably not used to the girl attention.  I think the best thing to do is to give him space.  Don't go out of your way to try and text or chat with him. There are guys out there who will appreciate the attention and reciprocate by giving you attention back in return.  Don't settle for this guy, there are more fish in the sea! (as corny as that may sound, it is true!)

Hey girl! Instead of shaving and having your hair on your stomach grow back sharp and coarse, you can try either waxing or bleaching your hair instead.  Shaving will leave your stomach stubbly and not smooth when the hair starts to grow back.  Waxing or bleaching are safer alternatives.

1) Don't worry -- you're totally normal! Some girls don't get their period until they're older, and that's okay. It all just depends on your body Don't be embarrassed by it! 2) It might be the beginning of your period, or it could not be. Carry around some pads if you're worried that it is, but don't stress about it too much!

I think that 11 and 15 are very different ages because you're at a totally different place in your life when you're 11 than you are at 15! It totally depends on the person though, because some people might be more mature when they're younger. Just be considerate, like ask her if she wants anything to eat or drink and ask what she wants to do! If it goes well, you should totally hang out again!

I'm not sure there's anything you can do to make it heal faster -- your body just takes time! Make sure you're keeping it clean, though, and you can put some aloe lotion or gel on it to soothe the burn. If it's not too bad, though, it should be getting back to normal by next week!

Hey girl,

That's a personal choice and it's totally up to you. Just remember that your pubic area is super sensitive, so shaving can cause irritation and ingrown hairs, and it'll probably be itchy when it grows back .
