What should I wear for the first day of school?

 
This might sound stupid, but I'm worried about my clothes.
 
I'm going to a new school next year for seventh grade. I've been going to a school with uniforms for the past five years, and I've seen or read so much stuff about girls getting bullied because they have the wrong clothes. I'm planning on just picking out outfits I love when I go back-to-school shopping, but since I want to quickly make friends and get good grades, bullies are probably the last thing I want to worry about.
 
I don't know what to wear because I want to fit in to help make the transition easier. Please help!

Hey there, chica! Being the “new kid” in school can be tough, but don’t fret!  With a great wardrobe and the right attitude, you’ll make tons of friends in no time.

Dressing to impress
Fashion is a form of expression. It’s much better to stand out for a style that screams Y-O-U than blend in with an outfit that’s generic. Besides, you want people to like you for who you really are, right? The most fab fashionistas are one of a kind, so don’t be afraid to be different!  

That being said, wear what you like and what you feel good in. Confidence wins you way more points than an outfit. So, got a fave look? Go ahead and sport your style on the first day. It’s what’s inside that counts
Sure your stylish outfit will def turn heads, but it’s a great personality that’ll reel in the buddies. You may feel like a fish out of water in this new school, but don’t let that hold you back. Being friendly is a surefire way to meet future friends. When you’re sitting next to someone, say hi and introduce yourself. Ask them about school, their summer and even their fab outfit to start off a nice convo. Give it a li’l time and effort, and you’ll feel right at home!
