Take it Outside Sure, shooting hoops in a gym or doing a workout DVD is better than sitting on your couch. But a recent study found that being with nature actually energizes people. Take your workout to the great outdoors to double the bennies of your sweat sesh. Try a quick hike or ride your bike around a local lake.

Have Fun Don’t become a slave to the treadmill. Trainer Ashley Conrad swears by doing fun activities, like dancing or soccer, to stay in shape. Keep it upbeat and you’ll be way more likely to stay true to the healthy you. Bonus: Exercising vigorously will help boost those grades. Hello, A’s.

Get Bendy Stretch it out, sister. A recent study found that adding 10 minutes of stretching to your routine helps build muscular strength and increases your power. Translation: You’ll be able to blast the ball farther on the soccer field and watch your toe-touches soar during cheer practice.
