Hey shana399, aww man you do have a lot going on. Just because you're moving doesn't mean you and your crush have to stop communicating. You two can always text, call, email, video chat, Facebook and tweet each other. So get his number and stay in contact with him. And there are lots of things you can do to your room. You can stick pics up on the wall, get a cute comforter and pillows, hang other things like jewelry on the wall, accessorize with little knick knacks. i need help i'm leaving to Kent ( i live in the uk) and at where i currently live i have a crush on a boy i think he has one back i've got new friends cause i moved 2 high school (middle school) and when i leave my mum is gunna buy me a nice electric guitar and since i'm finnaly gunna get my own room i want 2 redecorate it but i'm moving 2 my grandad from my grandma ( cause their divorced and so is my parents) and i want to paint the walls but i don't think i'll b allowed 2 so what can i do 2 make my room look awesome and musical even though its white walls

I was getting tired of the way my room looked too, so what i did was cover almost a whole wall of pictures. I take lots of pictures with my camera so i had a bunch already developed, so i just started taping them to my wall in a line downwards. All you need to do this is get a bunch of pictures, any type of tape, and a blank wall. then you're all set. it looks really cool after you have all your pictures up. my wall's almost full, but i still keep adding pictures after i get them developed. my goal is to cover up all of my walls in my room with pictures.

Hey girl, I'm a big fan of paper lanterns. Why not try hanging some of them up or adding some bulletin boards or dry erase boards and adding art on them? Then the area is more concentrated. You should be able to get adhesive strips that won't chip your paint too for them. Shop with your 'rents for them.

I know this has nothing to do with the article, but i really need advice. A little less than 2 years ago my father died of cancer. My mom told me about a month ago that she has a crush on someone. She has a crush on a guy in my grade's father. I therefore cannot tell anyboby. Today he txted my mom and asked if she wanted to go for a walk. From what my mom has told me, he and his wife married, divored, then remarried. They have had problems and have even tried marrige counciling but it has not worked, however they still are married. His two kids and wife did not know he was going for a walk with my mom. Please Help. I am uncomerable with the fact that my mom has a crush. I feel like an awful daughter i want to be happy for her, but I don't want her to replace my dad. And in addition to that, i am very uncomerable with the fact that he is still married. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!I am freaking out. P.S. My mom gets stressed easy and is hard to talk to!!!

Hey girl, I am so sorry to hear about your dad first of all. Know the memories you have with him will last forever, but as you see now, your mom is going to start to move on and look for someone else to share her life with. She's not replacing your dad because your dad is irreplaceable. She's just finding someone new to make new memories and a new place with. As for your mom's crush, you have every right to be uncomfortable because of his married status, but don't assume they're doing anything right now. A walk is pretty innocent -- I do it with friends all the time. Assume they're friends for now and step back. This is your mom's place and trust her to make the right decision.

I've been wanting to re-do my room for about a year now. Three years ago, I painted it pink and green stripes and I'm sick of it now. The thing is, my mom painted it herself and she's very "sensitive." I've kind've hinted about re-doing my room and she gets upset and talks about how hard she worked on it. Do you think its too soon to re-do my room, and how can I convince her to let me re-do my room?

It does sound like it would hurt your mom's feelings a lot if you changed the room, so can you try changing things other than the paint on the walls? Explain to your mom that you really appreciate all she's done with your room, but see if she'll let you maybe re-arrange it or add some new items to spice it up a bit. Hope that helps! x0x0

Hey girl! I totally know how you feel, I felt the same way when I was hanging out with a girl, and now she's one of my BFFs, no joke

At least you always have soccer to talk about. You can ask her if she plays any other sports or wants to, and if she plays for a school team or another rec team. You can talk about school and other friends and other activities and hobbies that you both enjoy. You don't need to have everything in common to be friends. Good luck!
