How to make him laugh

His Answer: “Everyone has a unique sense of humor, but all comedy is based on the unexpected. Being silly and playful is always good. Don’t forget to act natural,” explains Jebediah, 15.

Alex, 15, agrees, adding, “It’s funnier when the joke is situational, like a comment, as opposed to just telling a joke, which has too much build-up and isn’t that funny.”

Dylan, 15, reveals what gets him giggling: “Acting cute and cheesy makes me laugh. Being able to be one of the guys and pranking people makes me laugh.”

Decoded: There’s no such thing as a stupid question, sweetie – everyone feels awkward around boys, and showing off that fabulous personality of yours can be a whole lot harder if you’re sweating and stuttering. These cuties are totally right – it’s all about feeling comfortable! Ya don’t need to memorize a comedy routine to show off your sense of humor, but a witty comment here and there is a good start.

Your Move: Don’t learn jokes or practice conversations. Instead, just try and loosen up! Don’t take yourself too seriously – the ability to laugh at yourself, be silly or act a little crazy is what’ll get the guys laughing, not your rehearsed impression of your fav celeb. Really funny moments aren’t something you can prepare for, so just relax and go with the flow. Good luck, girl!
