Friday marks the day that
The
Hunger Games finally hits theaters! So many amazing actors and actresses
are a part of this film—one of them being the sweet
Kalia Prescott!
She plays the tribute from District 3 and this is the real start
of her movie career. To answer a few fan questions about The Hunger Games and her budding career, Kalia chatted with fans on
GL’s Facebook this past Thursday, March 15th.
Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to join in on the chat,
GL’s got the scoop on what Kalia had to say about filming, co-stars, fans…and
having to act dead for the movie! Check it out below.
Her
fave and least fave part of filming:
“Being part of such an incredible phenomenon was such an honor.
I had such a great time. My favorite part was making such good friends. My
least favorite was probably the first few days of the cornucopia because it was
sooo hot and we were in full gear.”
On the huge Hunger
Games fan following:

On
her co-stars:
“Josh is such a sweetheart. He's a really down to earth guy.
Josh and Jen are hysterical and both really nice (I didn't work with Liam). My
best friends on set were Ethan And Amandla, but we all hung out and got along
great.”
Her
thoughts on couples both for on and off screen:

On
the last scene she shot:
“It was in the training center. I had a pretty good scene that
was unfortunately cut from the film
Lots of action and emotion. I loved
filming that scene.”
On how she started acting:
“I started in the business when I was 5, as a stunt girl and I
really fell in love with acting on The
Hunger Games.”
On
filming challenges:

On the pros and
cons of acting in a movie:
The pros are you get more than one take in films, you make great
memories on locations and catering is usually really good! The cons are leaving
your pets and friends behind when you go on location.
On filming a death scene:

On
her future career:
I have another film (Red Dawn) coming out in Nov. (with Josh),
but I just did some stunt doubling for Isabel Lucas on it. I have lots of
modeling stuff coming out very soon!
