Pop Princess
By: Rachel Cohn
What 15-year-old girl wouldn’t want to be a pop star? That’s how Wonder Blake feels when she is offered a recording contract and the chance to leave her difficult family life for the life of a superstar. All seems well, until she realized the famous life isn’t as easy as she thought. Still, she has fun along the road with music, boys, awesome clothes, and a fun tour!

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
By: Ann Brashares
Tag along as four life-long friends form a sisterhood when they are about to separate for the summer. Carmen, Tibby, Lena and Bridget find a pair of pants that somehow fit them all, even though their bodies are all different. These pants end up being their connection to each other over the summer as they mail the pants to one another after two weeks of use. Will this pair bring the girls everything they want? Love, family, acceptance and understanding?
The Princess Diaries
By: Meg Cabot
What would happen if one day you just woke up to find out that you’re a princess of a country? Well, that’s exactly what happened to Mia Thermopolos when all of a sudden her dad tells her that he is the prince of Genovia, making her royalty as well! Mia has to deal with this new information, which will totally change her life considering is currently a high school freshman nobody who is about to become a little less invisible.
The Secret Language of Girls
By: Frances O'Roark Dowell
Eleven-year-old besties, Kate and Marylin, used to be able to talk to each other about anything and everything. But now it seems as though Marylin finds Kate a bit to babyish. Plus, Kate finds Marylin to be too much of a diva and they aren’t as close as they used to be. While they are both putting up a tough front, they secretly wish they were their normal best friend selves again. Will they be able to find their way back?
Ella Enchanted
By: Gail Carson Levine
Ella is cursed. This is the classic story of Cinderella, except this version isn’t so classic. There are still the wicked stepsisters and there’s the fairy godmother and prince, but one major thing is added: Ella has been cursed to obey everyone’s orders. She has no choice. If she were told to jump off a bridge, she would have to do it. In order to get out from under this curse before she is killed by it, Ella must find her prince! But will she find him before time runs out?
Sucks to be Me: The All-True Confessions of Mina Hamilton, Teen Vampire
By: Kimberly Pauley
Mina Hamilton is just like any other 16-year-old girl. She is faced with the decision to choose between staying a human and becoming a vampire like her parents. Hold up, that is sooo not what an average teenager’s life is like! Anyway, Mina goes to normal high school, but she also takes vampire classes. Double the school? That already sounds like torture! Add to it the fact that her parents are pressuring her to become a vampire and she has to deal with her crushes. Life can be tough for a normal girl, but it definitely seems like it’s tougher for this kind of chica.

The sequal to The Secret Languge of Girls is The Kind of Friends we Used to Be. Both are really good. So is Ella Enchnted, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (you'll want to find a magical pair of pants afterward, no joke), Princess Diaries is cute (and i am undenibly in LOVE with the movie)
