Ed. Obsession Under $30: Mid-summer pick-me-up

It’s about mid-season, and that’s right about the time that I start to get a little bored of my clothes. Sure, I love shorts and tees and sundresses as much as the next girl, but I’m starting to long for my fall sweaters and vests and jeans.

 

Here’s what I’ve found to help stave off wardrobe ennui … a bright so-summer bracelet that somehow makes my outfit feel fresh. The wide braid and soft jersey are an unexpected take on the classic friendship bracelet, and look so groovy with my tangle of gold and turquoise bangles. Plus, it’s got a clasp, which means I can wear it into fall…

That is a lot of money to pay when you could go to a craft store, buy some fabric and make it yourself for under 10 dollars. I have to admit though, it is cute. Smile Just not 26 dollars cute. :/

Okay so I'm doing a 3 day craft fair starting today and I just got my period!! I have to be in the booth all day but the largest tampons only last 2 hrs even though I've only had my period 9 mos. Any advice? HELP!

 

Hey girl,

Use tampons, and maybe even double up with a pad if you're worried about leaking. When you're at the booth, there's nothing wrong with taking frequent bathroom breaks every 2 hours or so. Just leave a sign that says "on break, be back in 5" so that people know you're out. Also have somebody keep an eye on your booth so that nobody steals anything!

ok so my brothers high school baseball team made it to state i have a few questions
1. What should i wear i was thinking short shorts and a school shirt maybe
2. im bringing a friend what are some fun things to do in the car (its 2 hours away) we cant talk about what we normally talk about because we are riding with my parents
3. we are gonna see my bf there and lately i feel like he doesnt like me as much we dont talk as much as normal and he doesnt have baseball anymore so hes in fact less busy

Woo that's so exciting for them!

1. Shorts and a school shirt is a perfect outfit - it'll help you keep cool while still showing your school spirit! Don't forget sunscreen since you'll be outside.

2. Try bringing a game for the car ride. Scattegories, Scrabble, Mancala, Battleship, Mad Gab, etc. are all great to travel with - they'll keep you busy while making you laugh Smile Plus, you could also listen to music together, text each other the gossipy stuff you want to talk about, or play car games like I Spy.

3. If you're feeling like your relationship isn't the same as it was before, you should be honest with your BF. Talk to him and be open about how you're feeling. See if he's ok - if something is going on in his life causing him to pull away. Be calm about it, but include him in the doubts you're having. It's smart to learn how to communicate with your BF - that's the best way to keep a healthy relationship!
