My BGF and I chat online every day--are we dating?

There is this boy from school that I chat with on email every day, literally. You can't really call us friends because I only interact with him online and almost never at school. However, we aren't serious. It's confusing, 'cause if we aren't friends, but we aren't each other's girl/boyfriend, then what does that make us?

Hey girlie! Wow, it sounds like you two are pretty good friends if you talk that much. Why not move that friendship out of the digital to the real world? It never hurts to have a new friend to chat with at any time, no matter if there’s a screen in front of you. Once you two start hanging out, you’ll know for sure if you feel a love connection or not. But there’s no harm in asking him for study help, or to catch the newest flick just for fun.

Why can’t a boy and a girl just be friends? If you don’t see you two ever going out, then don’t stress. You can still chum it up online. But if you want to have quality friend time with this guy IRL, try these no-fail tips to land a guy friend. Easy!
