    DIY headband

For a casual yet super cute way to make your school ’do more fun, add in a braid headband. Take a section of hair from behind your ear, braid it and then pull it across your head like a headband. Pin it back behind your other ear, and you’ve made yourself a braid-headband! If you’re feeling daring, braid the headband all the way across your head just as you would with a French braid for a super tight and sophisticated ’do.

    Pumped-up pony

To make your average ponytail a little snazzier, add in a braid wrap. Just put your hair back as usual, but this time drop some hair down under and leave it out of the ponytail holder. Then, braid the hair you left out, wrap it around your ponytail holder, and pin it. Now you’ve got yourself one fancy pony!

    Made-up messy bun

To spruce up your average messy bun, add a subtle French braid. While your hair is down and parted, start to loosely French braid your hair, beginning with the hair in the front by your part and moving towards the back. When you get to the back of your head, throw your hair up in that messy bun as usual, including the hair you used for your French braid. How chicly undone!

    Pretty at prom

Want to add a braid for a fancier occasion, like prom? Make a waterfall braid by dropping the strand that goes in the middle and replacing it with new hair as you go around the back of your head. Do this all across the back of your head and add in some curls for an elegant look that will make your date speechless.

    The princess braid

Get ready to feel like a princess with this braided crown. Make two normal, small braids, one on each side of your head. Pull them to the back of your head, put one over the other as if you’re making a knot, then pin the hanging strands. If that’s too complicated, just pull them back and stick them in a ponytail. So easy!
