4 ways to rework your cardi

Channel your inner fashionista and revamp the ways you wear that closet staple: the classic cardi. We know you’ve got oodles of ‘em, so what are you waiting for? Psst: Who knows, you might even get snapped for your awesome new street style!

Mis-buttoned

Whoever said you don’t have to color inside the lines was totally right. We’re applying that rule to our sweaters. Create a new shape by mis-buttoning your cardi—on purpose! A super long Grandpa cardi works best for this style. Add skinnies or simple bottoms to keep the focus up top.

Backwards

Try wearing your cardigan backwards. Yep, we said it. Show off your cute buttons! This works well with a higher-necked, chunky knit. Think casual-cool stripes.

Tucked

You tuck in button-downs, so why not tuck in your sweater? Paired with a high-waisted skirt and buttoned to the collar, you’ll get a prim and polished look. Or, leave it partly open and let a ruffly blouse peek through. Tuck it half-way into your jeans.

Wrapped

Make your own circle scarf by tying and tucking a sweater around your neck. Fold it in half and loop the arms around, tucking in the ends. Pouf it out and play around with how it lies. Something drapey works best. (Psst: This is an on-set secret—we’ve totally done this in a photo shoot!)
