Feel-Good Friday: A little boy and his unlikely (adorable!) best friend have one wish

John Lewis Christmas commercials always make us tear up. Last year’s The Bear & The Hare? Yeah, still not over it.

But this year’s commercial is better than ever. The story is about a little boy and his best friend, Monty the Penguin. Monty only has one wish this Christmas and we can’t imagine anything more adorable than this tale of friendship, hope and love.

Although we might be a little too eager (like, hello, Thanksgiving isn’t here yet!) it’s never too early to get in the holiday spirit.
