This 13-year-old is being called the *best* rock climber in the world

Last week,13-year-old Ashima Shiraisha took spring break to the next level--scaling up a super steep 140-foot climb in Spain. In the process of racing up a tricky rock face called the "Open Your Mind Direct," she became the youngest person and only female to ever triumph over that trek.
Ashima, an 8th grader from New York, started climbing at six years old and began competing at age eight. Now she trains five days a week, proving that intense practice can really pay off. Ashima thought about this climb for an entire year (talk about dedication), before she decided to head to Europe and tackle it over her spring break. The results were impressive. Not only did she make reach the top, she scrambled up in under 10 minutes.

What her impressive accomplishment proves? There is no goal too high to reach...literally.

Would you ever try rock climbing? What do you think of Ashima's acheivement? Tell us in the comments below.
