Meet Quasi Modo, the secretly adorable winner of the Worlds Ugliest Dog contest
It was the annual World’s Ugliest Dog contest, which you may have seen broadcast on Animal Planet. 10-year-old Quasi Modo, a mixed breed pup with a birth defect that caused her to have an extra short spine and hunch back, was titled the ugliest in the land. But is it just us, or is she pretty cute?
The pooch’s owner says she’s super friendly and easygoing, but people are sometimes scared of her because of how she looks. We think that Quasi’s unusual looks make her pretty special, and would never shy away from an opportunity to play with her!
While the concept of “The World’s Ugliest Dog,” may seem funny, these pups remind us that differences are what make us cool. If we think this dog is cuter because she’s so unique, why wouldn’t we love and embrace the features in ourselves that make us different? Quasi Modo, you inspire us.
