Looking for a unique, outdoorsy summer party for you and your friends? We've got you covered. We're throwing it back to childhood for this low-key backyard hang.

The decor

Paint letters on a burlap triangle banner to spell out a special salutation (you can't go wrong with "Welcome to Camp!") and hang it at the entrance to your yard. Then, set up lawn chairs around a firepit and pitch an old tent from the garage. An extra cozy touch: Gather up all the plaid flannels and blankets you can find (since it may get chilly when the sun goes down).

The food

You can't get more camp-y than hot dogs, so stick 'em on a skewer and roast over the open flame. Then, fire up the grill for corn on the cob, veggie skewers and potato wedges sprinkled with olive oil, salad and chili powder. For beverages, pop a few juice boxes in the cooler. And when it's time for dessert? A gourmet s'mores bar is most definitely necessary—as are peanut butter + Oreos (You know, the OG Parent Trap cabin snack).

The agenda

Get ready, get set, get craft. Kick off the evening with a friendship bracelet-making sesh. Whether you use colorful string or funky beads, we've got all the tutorials. Then, break out the tie-dye kits and design your own rainbow tees (we heart the Mondo Llama Give it a Swirl Tie Dye Kit, $10, target.com). Once the sun sets, gather your gals for a movie under the stars. All you need? A portable projector (try the Auking Projector, $100, amazon.com) plus a screen (rent one from the library or just hang up a white sheet).
