Dear Carol

"Dear Carol, I'm so much taller than everyone in my grade"

Dear Carol,

I feel like I don’t fit in with the girls in my grade. I am much taller than them.

- Taller

Dear Taller,

Why fight your height? You can’t really change it, so my advice is: Try to appreciate and take care of the body you have. Besides, there are advantages to being tall. You can reach the top shelf, you can see the movie (or teacher) no matter who’s in front of you and if you want to play volleyball or basketball, it’s game on. Your classmates are still growing and may catch up soon, but in the meantime, try to enjoy your stature and the view.
